Following the need to counter tank attacks on the ground, new armour was added to the bottom of the fuselage of this version of the A-8, protecting the fuel tanks and pilot, the engine cowling, the landing gear mechanisms and outer wing mounted armament. It was also fitted with a centreline mounted bomb rack and up to a 250kg bomb under each wing. Canopy can be posed open. Detailed and accurate wheel well.
