Shipping and Delivery

Mainland UK

Within Mainland UK (exceptions apply), goods are either sent via Royal Mail 48-hour or Next Working Day Courier service (currently DHL Parcel) dependent on size, value and Royal Mail carriage restrictions.
Where we are able to send full shipments there will be only one delivery charge. Where forward order items are expected to arrive over a longer period and individual shipments are needed we reserve the right to request payment of the delivery charge per shipment where the shipment value is less than £75.
Please note - if you request items to be sent direct from our shops this will incur a shipping charge for each shipment.

Items needing to be sent by courier £9.00
Shipments valued above £199.95 are sent carriage paid (subject to surcharges), below this the highest applicable rate for items in the order will be charged.

A next working day Courier service is available for items shown as in stock in the warehouse at a cost of £9.00 per delivery for orders placed before 1 pm.
Stock shown as available in the warehouse will usually be delivered within 72 hours. Items shown as available in branch may take up to 14 working days – ordering by phone direct from branch may reduce this. If possible, delays will be advised by email. Courier deliveries are normally made between 9:00am to 6:00pm. Most deliveries require a signature upon receipt.

Delivery Surcharges - In some cases we are charged an additional surcharge for a shipment and we reserve the right to request settlement of this additional charge. We will endeavor to advise you of any increased delivery charge during the checkout process before you complete your order.
Delivery companies make additional charges for delivery to some postcodes, including Islands requiring ferry passage from the mainland and Scottish Highlands areas. Where a surcharge will be applied the increased shipping cost to your postcode will be shown during the checkout process.
During 2023 we were advised of a reduction in the maximum length of parcels accepted at standard rates, as a result we may need to apply a shipping surcharge to some very large items which we had previously been able to send at standard rates.

International, All Non UK addresses including EU - Permanent exports.

UK VAT of 20% will be deducted from the price to be paid on deliveries outside the United Kingdom.
If you are arranging for your order to be delivered to an address in the UK from where the items will subsequently be permanently exported from the UK please state this and the final destination in the information box of the checkout screen. We can then adjust the charges and declare the order as an export.

Outside the UK international post or courier services will normally be used. Most items are sent by air and arrive within 2 - 10 days, although this cannot be guaranteed. There is a minimum packing charge of £6.00 (GBP) for all overseas orders. Shipments will be sent without further charge if this payment will cover the postage charges.
Where the postage charge by the most cost-effective service for the shipment exceeds £6.00 (GBP) we will forward by Email a Paypal link for the additional shipping charges applicable, at cost. We can provide costs by an alternative or your preferred carrier on request, or make packages available for collection from our warehouse where you are able to obtain a cheaper rate.

Local sales tax or import duty may be due when the goods arrive. Your country customs service and/or tax office will be able to advise on the rates and rules which will apply.
