Albatros 1/1250 AL269 Lavoisier, Chargeurs Reunis combi-liner, 1950

A 1/1250 scale metal model of Lavoisier, one of 8 "Savant-class" passenger & freight liners  for the french company throughout the 1950s. In 1961, she was re-named Riviera Prima and converted to a cruise ship. In 1964, she became Viking Princess but in 1966, she caught fire in the Caribean and was so badly damaged that she was scrapped in Bilbao.
