Albatros 1/1250 AL282A Corfu P&O liner from 1950 onwards
A 1/1250 scale metal model of Corfu by Albatros SM AL282A.
Corfu and her sister-ship Carthage were liners for secondary services of P&O moving both passengers and freight around efficiently and economically. During WW2 both ships were requisitioned as armed merchant cruisers and both were released in 1943 to become MOWT troopships and ultimately to be returned to P&O for post-war service in the livery shown here.
For the pre-war version of these ships see Carthage AL282.
