Albatros 1/1250 Alk326 Geestport, a refrigerated ship as a Falklands supply ship, 1982

Geestport, IMO 8003773, is a second-hand, 1/1250 scale metal model of a refrigerated ship completed in 1982 by Austin & Pickersgill at Middlesborough. Almost immediately the ship was chartered by the British Government, equipped with a helipad to take stores and provisions to support the Falklands Campain and arrived there on 11th June 1982.
