A detailed model of the Great Westerns' classic branchline prarie tank engine. The 45xx class 2-6-2s were small but powerful locomotives able to run fast in either direction, the 4575 type featuring larger tanks, raised at the cab end and sloped at the front to maintain visibility for the crew. The Bachmann model has a powerful and smooth running mechanism allied to a finely detailed body shell, nicely recreating these popular engines which remained in service until the end of steam on the Western region.
