Bachmann OO 39-188 BR Mk1 BG Gangwayed Full Brake Coach Network SouthEast

The Mk1 coach was designed as the BR standard coach in the early 1950's. The gangwayed brake van provided parcels and luggage accomodation matching the new coach design. Bachmann's model is to the correct scale length and features many separate parts, replicating detail differences and equipment changes.

This model is finished as one of a small number of these vans operated under the Network SouthEast banner, principally on longer distance passenger services where additional luggage space was required and on trains where large numbers of bicycles were regularly carried.
