Enoshima Maru was a Royal Navy re-fuelling tanker which had been scuttled by the British when Japan captured Hong Kong in 1942. The Japanese salvaged the ship and repaired it and used it to refuel their own warships in harbours in Indo-China. Enoshima Maru survived WW2 and was found in a harbour in Borneo in 1945 and returned to service for the Royal Navy
