Cobi 5762 Hawker Hurricane No.302 Block Model
Do you want to commemorate the heroism of Polish pilots and create a souvenir from an important event? Build a model of the legendary HAWKER HURRICANE aircraft - a machine that fought for freedom under the skies of England! On the occasion of the 85th anniversary of the Battle of Britain and the 100th anniversary of the Air Force Academy in Deblin, in August 2025 there will be a unique flight of a replica Hurricane aircraft from Duxford (Great Britain) to Deblin. The event is organized by The Polish Heritage Flight and the Polish Airmen Remembrance Committee. The aircraft will have the markings of the 302nd "City of Poznan" Squadron, which was stationed at RAF Duxford in September 1940. The aircraft that will visit Polish skies was built in 1942 at the Canadian Car Foundry and initially went to the 123rd Canadian Squadron. It survived the war and in 1985 was restored so perfectly that it made its next flight four years later. The sight and sound of the Hawker Hurricane over the Polish skies will be a symbol of gratitude to the Poles who fought over England during World War II. COBI supports this event by presenting a model of the HAWKER HURRICANE (No 302 Sqn. RAF), which will take part in this historic flight!
Since September 1940, Polish pilots from the 302 "Poznanski" Squadron fought the German Luftwaffe in planes such as the Hawker Hurricane. They were Polish pilots who, after the defeat in 1939, reached England through France to fight the German occupiers. Perfect details in 1:32 scale The model has precisely reproduced characteristic wings, engines and fuselage details. It is not just a plane, it is a story of courage, sacrifice and heroism.
