Hansa 1/1250 S285 Bayernstein, cargo ship, 1968
Bayernstein, a 1/1250 scale model of an NDL general cargo ship from 1968. This is a second-hand model in very good condition, originally made by Hansa, S285, see photograph.
Bayernstein was traditionally a NDL name but other photograph of this ship and models of this ship have HAPAG stripes around the top of the funnel. The companies merged, so perhaps this ship moved between the two branches of the merged company during the period that the ship was in service.
