The Dassault Rafale is a French twin-engined delta-wing multi-role fighter aircraft which was designed and built by the Dassault Aviation, principally to replace the French Air Force SEPECAT Jaguars and French Navy F-8 Crusaders. Its First flight was on 4 July 1986. The first production aircraft Rafale flew for the first time on 04 December 1998 and was delivered to the French Air Force.
