The InterCity 125 High-Speed Trains were introduced by British Rail in 1976, operating 125mph services on the Great Western Main Line and the East Coast Main Line before being introduced to other lines as their use spread. Built at Crewe by BREL, the Class 43 are officially the fastest diesel trains in the world.
This train set comes complete with a pair of Class 43 diesel drive cars; one powered and the other a non-powered drive car. Each drive car has directional lighting that illuminates white at the forward end and red at the rear.
This set comes with one Mk3 passenger coach, an oval of track with a siding, a buffer stop and a controller with a mains power supply.
