The American Bell's OH-13 is among the most famous helicopters in history. Developed immediately after the Second World War, it was distributed to the US Army in the late 1940s. The "Sioux" was characterized by the "soap bubble canopy" which made it unique and easily recognizable, the tail trellis and the two side tanks. The OH-13 was used, in good numbers, during the Korean War to carry out a great variety of tasks such as observation, advanced reconnaissance, medical evacuation.
