HMS Glasgow, the Royal Navy's Type 42 Batch 1 Destroyer. These Destroyers were guided missile destroyer that served in the Royal Navy from the late 1970's to the mid 2000's. There were six Batch 1 versions. HMS Glasgow was finally decommissioned in 2005.

This is a model of HMS Glasgow. The Royal Navy's Type 42 Batch 1 Destroyer also known as the Sheffield Class. Glasgow was one of six Batch 1 versions of the Type 42. In service from the late 1970's through to the early 2000's the Type 42 Destroyers where the work horse of the Royal Navy. They were 6 Batch 1 Destroyers. The kit contains a resin hull and super structure, white metal fittings, photo etched detail and decals for D88 (HMS Glasgow).
