The M4A1 was a variant of the U.S. M4 medium tank. The M4 series tanks were the most numerous U.S. tanks produced during WWII. The M4 was famous for its reliability, excellent drive performance and ease of upgrade and modification. The tank was named after the famous American Civil War General William Sherman.
