The Tilly was the name given to a number of British vehicles produced during WWII based on civilian car designs, including the Austin, adapted for use by each of the armed forces across all areas during the conflict. Tilly was the nickname derived from the term Utility and these hybrid vehicles proved especially versatile, fitted with a simple rear loading area. Painted in the light stone colour scheme, which extends to the chassis and the wheels, the model is given a lighter beige 'canvas' back including the closed window blinds, an olive green interior, black seats and black steering wheel. The model also has a military number plate 87YF25 on the front and the back. The British military formation sign featuring the yellow camel on a red and blue two tone background signifies a post WWII deployment.
