This Falcon Ranchero model is based on the second generation of the Ford vehicle manufactured between 1960 and 1965. It was a very economical vehicle with a 2.4L straight 6 engine and there was an option of a three speed manual gearbox or a two-speed automatic. The Falcon Ranchero went through further modifications before ceasing production in 1979 but it always retained its 2-door coupe? utility status and remained popular with over half a million being made.
Here we see it in a muted green with its open back pickup section with a load of three custom made crates. The cabin area is moulded in black whilst exterior trim is predominantly chrome with a chrome and black radiator grille. The pick-up is registered as CX 5743 in Alberta 1960.
