Sister to the Embsay & Bolton Abbey Railways' Beatrice Hunslet works number 3714 was sold to the NCB for Thorne Colliery, South Yorkshire. The engine was still intact in 1968, but was later dismantled to obtain spares for other Hunslet 16in locomotives, including 3782 Arthur, which did survive into preservation at the Buckinghamshire Railway Centre.
