Rapido Trains OO 922002 The Titfield Thunderbolt Train Pack
A pack of superbly detailed models of the Liverpool and Manchester Railway 0-4-2 Lion as the Titfield Thunderbolt as appearing in the famous Ealing comedy The Titfield Thunderbolt set around a plan by local people and railway enthusiasts to take over and operate a branch line planned for closure by British Railways. The elderly Titfield Thunderbolt locomotive is resurected from a museum as the lines' motive power, while an eclectic selection of stock is used to carry the passengers.
This pack includes a model of the Lion locomotive finished in movie livery as the Thunderbolt, together with Dans House, a coach body carried on a GWR Loriot wagon and Toad brake van.
Official licenced product authorised by StudioCanal
Please Note the locomotive in this train pack will not have sound installed and does not include the figures or booklet. The commemorative booklet is supplied in the Delexe pack only. The figures are available with the rolling stock pack which includes the ex-Wisbech tramway Buffet/Bar coach.
Research has shown that two ex-GWR 'Toad' brake vans were used during the filming of sequences for the movie. Both were identified as W68740, but the two vans were slightly different and Raipdo Trains have decided to produce both. This pack will feature the real W68740 with low footboards mounted below the axleboxes.
