Rapido Trains OO 936018 BR 4 Wroxall Isle of Wight Class E1 0-6-0T Plain Black Early Emblem
Detailed model of the London Brighton & South Coast Railway class E1 0-6-0 tank engines designed by William Stroudley in 1874. The class was intended for local goods, shunting and piloting duties. Proving successful the class was expanded to 80 locomotives by 1891. Although withdraws started in 1908 30 locomotives entered British Railways stock in 1948, including four working goods services on the Isle of Wight.
Model finished as British Railways Isle of Wight section number 4 Wroxall in unlined black livery with early emblems.
