This is a very straightforward kit to build and can be assembled for use on a busy main road or backing onto a railway line. Based on a real-life building in the side-streets of Liverpool, smack bang in the city centre, it's got lots of atmosphere and character, from the heavily weathered brickwork through to the elaborate door surround on what's now used as a fire exit.
The kit is supplied with laser-cut parts for ease of assembly and comes with fully weathered paper wraps, with no additional painting or weathering required on the main components for a "Realistically Better" finish straight from the pack.
The window & doors are supplied laser-cut from our eco-friendly laserboard and are packed with detail. These will require painting with acrylic paints prior to assembly or colouring with suitable markers or acrylic paints. We used a Plastikote matt black for the doors and white spray primer for the windows to give a slightly weathered, toned down finish.
There's also plenty of scope for customisation too... A choice of window backing sheets is included along with the option to add interior lighting too.
