Secondhand Mini-ships 1/1250 Unknown 10 Chinese PLAN Type 022 fast attack craft 2020s
These second-hand models of the PLAN Type 022 missile boats are 1/1250 scale, 3D-printed, waterline models made in a hard resin. They have been painted in typical, white, blue and grey camouflage by the previous owner and all are in excellent condition. The models are being sold individually but there are two in the photograph to show that the camouflge patterns are not identical across the class.
Currently, the Peoples Liberation Army Navy has over 80 of these small very fast catamarans in service and it is believed that they would be used in swarms to overcome anti-missile systems fitted on modern large warships. They are manned boats. The Japanese have produced larger fast mono-hull corvettes which are said to be capable of speeds of well over 40Kt to counter the threat of these craft and other nationsare looking at aircraft and drones.....
