U.S.M.C. Women’s Reserve, 1941-45 The U.S.M.C. Women’s Reserve was authorized during World War II. Its purpose was to release officers and men for combat, and to replace them with women for the duration of the war. Uniforms resembled the men’s to a degree – forest green, unbelted jacket, and a green cap with Marine Corps emblems on the cap and the uniform lapels. Under the jacket, a khaki shirt, and matching skirt. A G.I. shoulder bag and dark brown gloves could be added to the ensemble. 1/30 scale Matte Finish 1 Piece Set
