A useful kit producing a line of timber storage shelters. These simple structures were used to keep timber dry in storage. This structure is an ideal base structure for a timber or builders' merchants business, which could be served by a railway siding, or situated adjacent to a railway goods yard. Many coal merchants diversified into building material supply, keeping their wagons busy collecting timber, bricks and aggregates through the summer when coal demand was low.
