Zvezda 6134 Operation Barborossa 1941 Wargame

In 1941 German ground and air forces launched Operation Barborossa, the invasion of Soviet Russia.
Initially unprepared the Russians were rolled back by the well-practiced German Blitzkrieg, but when stopped the German army found it difficult to regain momentum in the face of building and better equiped opposition.

This game allows several phases of Operation Barborossa to be recreated using scale models to represent the forces and units involved. The box includes 24 kits, plinths, board game, Cards, Dice and rules.

Zvezda have chosen to mix scales to best represent different force units. Infantry and field guns are 1/72 scale, armoured vehicles and tanks at 1/100 scale and aircraft are 1/144 scale models.
