Corgi Larger Scale Models

Corgi AA27901 is a large 1/48th scale diecast model of a Royal Navy McDonnell Douglas Phantom FG.1  (XT864/007R) attached to 892 Naval Air Squadron -  Fleet Air Arm - flying from HMS Ark Royal during November 1978. Length 365mm, wingspan 240mm.

This a really well finished die-cast model for the adult collector.

First USA release of the Harrier tooling – unique parts and loadout giving a different model from the previous two releases of the Harrier. Quite a different and more aggressive presence compared to the UK version.
The first-ever release of our 1:48 scale AV-8B Harrier II in die-cast, this incredible Aviation Archive model features a display stand, removable undercarriage, and multiple moving parts including a sliding canopy, rotating Pegasus Engine exhausts and even a spinning fan blade inside the aircraft. The livery pays tribute to a legendary US Marines Squadron. Corgi have only made 1,500 of these limited-edition McDonnell Douglas AV-8B+ Harrier II die-cast models.

Eurofighter Typhoon FGR4, ZJ914 Blackjack Diecast Aircraft Model

ZG478 formed part of the Test and Weapons Evaluation fleet of RAF No.41 Squadron. It later saw active service in Afghanistan where is famously made a hard crash landing at Kandahar airport which resulted in the airframe bursting into flames. The pilot stayed onboard, steering it away from other aircraft on the airfield, before ejecting. The aircraft was recovered and restored to static display standards as it survives today.

Back in the range for the first time since 2011, this larger scale release features numerous removable panels and retractable undercarriage. The model represents an aircraft flown during the Battle of Britain by Supermarine’s chief test pilot – he later went on test every mark of Spitfire.

Back in the range for first time since 2011, this larger scale P-51D features numerous moving parts, working undercarriage and removable engine cover. George Preddy was the highest scoring American Mustang ace of the Second World War.

The first ever release of a Bf109-F by CORGI in any scale, this larger scale model features numerous moving parts. Marseille was the highest scoring German Ace against western allied aircraft during WW2

This 1:32 scale Hawker Hurricane pays fitting tribute to ‘Paddy’ Hemmingway, the final surviving Battle of Britain pilot who sadly passed away at the age of 105 in March 2025.
