G Gauge, trains running on robust 45mm gauge track, was introduced by LGB. The large, easily visible trains and reliable, robust construction has made G gauge trains the most popular size for garden railways.
Fun indoors or in the garden - solid brass rail and top quality materials - you can even run LGB in the rain or in snow. The track is strong enough to walk on and sturdy enough to be left in the garden all year. Radius 1 is just 24" so you can build tight layouts indoors.

Bachmann have recently announced a Thomas the Tank Engine range for G gauge. Excellent for entertaining the children! British outline industrial shunting engines, or source of a chassis to power other models.
