OO9 Narrow Gauge Buildings

Based on the buildings at the Ffestiniog Railway Boston Lodge base in Porthmadog, North Wales, this stone engine shed kit is supplied with two alternative roofs with chimneys or roof vents and can be built single or double-ended.
Laser cut using fine plywood sheets the kit features some very exquisite texture detailing replicating stone construction and includes some interior detail such as roof bracing. The kit also includes a Festiniog Railway disc signal.

Slate construction incline winding house as found at most slate quarries to allow slate to be raised of lowered between galleries.
The structure has been modelled in a rather dishevelled and abandoned state. Replacing the rope ends and adding a roof from slate embossed plastic sheet would allow a still active looking winding house to be created.

Slate Built Workers Cottageswould provide workers on a railway with a place to rest and recuperate, and so these models from Scenecraft are perfect to be placed close to the railway on any OO or OO9 scale model layout. Expanding the range of items for modelling the Festiniog Railway Peco are adding this laser cut wood kit for the single-story station building at Tan-Y-Bwlch.
The kit features some very fine detailing, such as the combination of textured slate and shingle-type roof plus the ribbed wall sides replicating the simple, rustic nature of the building. While modeled from a specific Festiniog Railway prototype the structures' appearance almost suggests the building might be in many other uses, as a small chapel, village hall, cricket pavilion or scout hut.
