Detailed model of the Daimler Fleetline bus, built from 1958 until the mid-1970s. The model has been produced from preserved examples of the type, principally the ex-Birmingham City Transport Fleetline preserved at the Wythall Transport Museum which was in service into the mid-1990s.Te Rapido Trains model features a highly detailed body with full interior produced in diecast metal with injection moulded plastic to produce the fine details. The front wheels are posable, ideal for a diorama or layout display and working road, interior and destination blind lighting is installed.This model is finished as West Midlands Transport Daimler Fleetline 6311 registration KON311P in West Midlands PTE livery on route 73.

Rapido UK have become aware that the bus model lighting units were inadvertently designed for 10 volt operation, not as intended.

Please use nothing more than a 9V power supply.

Rapido have also discovered that the magnetic switch that activates the lights is not between the decks as advised, but under the lower deck on the driver’s side.
