Albatros 1/1250 Alk76 HMS Leeds Castle Royal Navy Offshore Patrol Vessel
Another Falklands veteran, Leeds Castle carried dispatches to the Task Force! Completed in 1981, she completed almost 30 years service in the RN, being refurbished in 2010 and transferred to the Bangladeshi navy along with sister ship Dunbarton Castle. They became Dhaleshwari and Bijoy.
Designed to protect Britain's offshore oil and gas fields, the two Castle Class Patrol Vessels are large seaworthy ships for their type. HMS Dumbarton Castle is still in service but Leeds Castle was decommissioned in 2005.
