This marvelous reproduction of a ship of the line Grand Banks, now known and appreciated throughout the world. The construction of these offshore Yachts began in 1965 with an idea of a certain Robert Newton, who decided to build a boat made to measure for him. The development project developed from a working trawler, very widespread in North America in the area of New Foundland where the Grand banks can be found, hence the name of these diesel powered boats.
The kit includes glass fibre hull, with laser cut frames for bulkheads, and decking. Also included are the wooden superstructure sheets, brass and wooden fittings, resin details. The instruction booklet is very detailed, taking you through every step of construction. Due to the large hull, this model can be Radio Controlled.
