Bachmann OO 38-087A Loadhaul Limpet 34-tonne Open Ballast/Material Carrier Wagon Black/Orange

The Limpet ballast wagons re-used air-brake equipped chassis from 2-axle tank wagons to help replace engineering wagons built in the 1950's with more modern vehicles. Bachmann's model captures these distinctive vehicles well, including the cut-out panels in the centre of the sides intended to prevent overloading with ballast, while retaining the high sides useful for many lighter track materials.
This model carries the distinctive and striking Trainload Freight livery of black with orange end stripes.
