CM Models 1/1250 CM156C RMS Aquitania in Grey Waterline Model

RMS Aquitaniaretained her grey troopship exterior after WW2 but when she was handed back to Cunard in 1946, her funnels were repainted in Cunard red with black tops and bands, as modelled here by CM Miniaturen, CM 156C. Once Queen Mary, Queen Elizabeth and Mauretania (II) had been fully restored and re-fitted, Aquitania was laid up and, in January 1949, the decision was taken to send the last four funnel liner in the world to the scrapyard.
