Dapol O Gauge 7L-001-006 GWR Working Junction Signal Left Hand
A detailed working model of a GWR lower quadrant junction signal with two arms, the lower arm offset on a bracket to the left to indicate a route diverging to the left of the main line.
Junction signals were used to indicate to the driver which route his train was being sent over, allowing him to control the trains speed as appropriate for a junction or stopping point like a bay platform.
The operating mechanism uses servo motors in an enclosure which is fitted to the bottom of the signal post after the threaded base section has been secured through the baseboard.
