Dapol OO 4F-013-132 LMS Gunpowder Van 701022
Special steel bodied box vans were constructed for the secure conveyance of explosives. These wagons were generally designated 'gunpowder van', though any explosives or military munitions might be carried. The design of these vans was regularised by the Railways Clearing House and while some variatons were built over the years this square cornered design was built by the major railway companies from the 1930s and adopted as the British Railways standard design.
Model finished in LMS grey livery with post-1934 lettering style.
