N gauge is well suited to modelling the modern railway scene with multiple unit trains. These useful class 319 units were built for cross-London Thameslink services and equipped to work from both the 25kV AC overhead supply north of London and the Southern region 750V DC third rail supply. Working between Bedford/Luton and Brighton/Gatwick via the former Metropolitan 'widened lines' these trains carried the Network SouthEast blue/white.red stripe livery with grey cabs.
These models will feature switchable directional lighting including destination blind lights, a detailed interior with passenger saloon lights, an accurate non-electrical working pantograph and the unit is DCC sound compatible using the Next18 technology.
