Len Jordan 1/1200 L14 SS Gothic, Shaw Saville & Albion liner, 1948-52

SS Gothic was one of four sister-ships built for Shaw-Saville and Albion after WW2. Gothic wasbuilt by Swan Hunters on the Tynr and was selected to act as a Royal Yacht for King George VI but the tour was cancelled. !n 1952 additional yacht works were carrid out and in 1954,  Queen Elizabeth II used Gothic for a trip to Australia but by then Gothic had a white hull.

This model is second-hand but is in excellent condition (see photograph)
