ModelU O Gauge 2706-043 Traversing Jacks Pack of 4

Pack of 4 traversing jacks. This is the most basic of lifting and slewing tools used to re-railing of locomotives, carriages and wagons. Once raised and levelled using the jacks the traversing mechanism allows the load to be moved along the line of the jack, quickly getting derailed wheels back inline with the rails.
These jacks are often seen on the footplates of industrial and narrow gauge locomotives, lines where the train crew would sort out minor incidents themselves rather than wait for assistance.
