Like many Parkside kits this kit can be used as the basis for wagons to a number of similar diagrams with few visible detail differences.
Diagram O36 (vacuum fitted)
A batch of apparently just 10 vacuum brake fitted O24 wagons, for which a vacuum brake cylinder and fittings will be required from another kit or Peco pack RO-6. These wagons were also equipped with sheet supporter rails, parts for which are supplied with the instanter coupling links in some Parkside kits, however many wagons had their sheet rails removed in later years. Some are also noted as having the GWR Dean-Churchward spring operated hand brake system (also in Peco pack RO-6) for a further variation.
Diagram O26
Essentially identical to O24, but rated 10 tons only. 100 wagons built.
The subsequent diagram O29 wagons had a different arrangement of the 'wide' plank, moved from the top to 2nd plank up position and following which came the change to the 10ft wheelbase chassis modelled in Parkside kit PS27. It may be possible to model some of these wagons using the later body with the 9ft chassis, but we are not able to supply these parts separately.
Kits for the older 16ft length GWR open wagons are available from the Peco and Slaters ranges.
