No.1 radius at 14 5/8in is the sharpest radius available in the OO track range and the sharpest radius which smaller OO model trains can be expected to travel round without derailing. Many large models, including large steam and diesle locomotives, modern passenger coaches and long wagons will not successfully negotiate a curve this sharp. We recommend using small locomotives and traditional short 4-wheel wagons on no.1 radius circuits.
