British Railways designers allowed for their standard ventilated van design to be built with planked or plywood side sheeting. The plywood construction van design was used as the basis for the BR standard Fruit van with additional side ventilators added. Diagram 1/233 was issued for these more specialised wagons.
Either type can be built from this kit.
