WW1 Imperial German Navy

Imperial Germany's High Seas fleet. Potent and well-commanded challengers to the Royal Navy. Thwarted by the global reach of the British empire and growing United States military power, making their final stand with the scuttling of the ships at Scapa Flow, preventing them from falling into the hands of foreign powers.
Schlesien is a second-hand, 1/1250 scale, waterline, metal model of a Deutscland-class pre-Dreadnought in 1916. This model is in excellent, original condition (see photograph). Navis Neptun models suspended production four years ago, so new models are not available at present.

Navis have taken the trouble to model 2 variations of the members of this class. Both types fought at Jutland. This version could be taken to represent Schleswig Holstein and Posen.
