Slip turnouts combine a diamond crossing with a turnout, allowing a train to pass onto either of the diverging tracks.
These points were usually used in locations where many tracks converged and can prove useful on model railway layouts to reduce the length occupied by junctions.
Code 124 bullhead rail. Length 584mm (23in). Crossing angle 8 degrees. Polarity changeover switching is required to correctly energise the crossings for the route set.
Templates for Peco points are available from the Peco website.
