A 1/1250 scale metal, fully assembled and painted model of SS Arabia. P & O's handsome two funnel Arabia was built at Greenock by Caird & Co in 1898, especially for the route to India. The ship had a relatively short career, being sunk by torpedo in 1916.
A 1/1250 scale model of the passenger tender Nomadic, built in 1911 to service the Olympic class liners during calls at the French port of Cherbourg, before their crossing of the Atlantic to New York. She was built at Harland & Wolff's yard at Belfast and the tender has recently been returned there, re-fitted and opened to the public as a museum ship in a dock opposite the stunning new Titanic museum.
